I’m pleased with the way this blog is developing. You folks are contributing thoughtful ideas and comments, being open, being considerate of one another….who could ask for more?
I haven’t really advertised the existence of this blog to my list yet, I’ve been too busy to get around to it, but I think I will wait a while – lots of other writing to do! – as I like the way we seem to be slowly, but organically growing….
Hi!
Congratulations on your new book!
Just checking to see if you are interested in the consciousness raising abilities of individuals with severe autism. They certainly have broadened my concept of reality as they lead me on a journey of shared consciousness and an evolving form of telepathy. It is lonely being at the forefront of ideation, especially without the right credentials or affiliations. I could certainly use you on my team.(smile)

Instead of defining someone as “broken,” I think, in general, that it might be much more useful to say “You’re constructed in a different way, that costs you thins in some way and probably gives you certain kinds of advantages in other ways.” Note that I’m speaking from theory, though, I have no practical experience in working with autism, so don’t take me too seriously.
